Character creation comes after you choose an Archetype, and before you enter the game. For those who aren’t into this, there is a Randomise button (boo!).

Character Creation Concerns

Some things to consider when making your character:

There are no options to change your name after character creation, so choose wisely.
You will look different in game – this character creator space is high-res with dramatic lighting, and you won’t see this in game apart from in cut scenes.
Hair colour can look different in game, in bright light dark hair can look grey, and blonde hair can look better than it usually does.
There are Barber Shop tokens that you can purchase in game to basically re-do your look. However, these cost 10,000 Marks of Fortune (about $13-$16 AUD) and there are no low-cost options for small changes.

The character creator lets you choose between a selection of presets in various appearance categories. There are no sliders for full customisation. Some things aren’t visible due to clothing, such as the neck tattoo, which does look pretty good in-game. Additionally, using white hair to see the full shape can be a good idea, since it is dark in here. Just change to your preferred colour after you’ve styled it.
