Developer Digest – March 2026
Earlier in March, we saw a massive AMA from former Lead World Designer David McKenzie, sharing his insights about working on New World. Then, after much anticipation, the devs came through on their roadmap promises and more. We saw the first of the monthly updates, with all transmogs unlocked, max gear sets increased and free in the store, free boosters, ten times the number of soulmarks from chests, three more sets added to the Soulwarden forge and the Stifling set disabled, reduced number requirements for PVP modes to pop, and the much awaited Region Transfer enabled, along with a few other things. They’re coming home to Delos!
After working into the night to produce evidence of our efforts, it was a blessing and a joy to wake up to the news that the merge was reworked and we are no longer losing our region!
About us
Utopian Organ is a periodical publication based on the experience of players on the Delos server in the Massive Multiplayer Online Game, New World: Aeternum.
We cover News, such as mutation rotations, player-run events, and opinion pieces; Lifestyle articles about fashion and housing, interviews with players, and an extensive community-sourced Armor Catalog; a little bit of PVP reporting with an ongoing record on the weekly territory faction control; plenty of Advice from a range of guides plus an agony aunt you can write in to; and a much-neglected classifieds section that we’d love people to submit ads for.
The site is meant to be fun and foster a sense of community, so if you see any part that you think you’d like to get involved in, please send us a message. Whether you’re from Delos or just a fellow New Worldian, we would love to hear from you and include your ideas and contributions.
