My pick of the mutations this week is Starstone – it’s a great opportunity to help newer players pick up Blood Drinker, and since it’s Ice, we can use the same gear we’re running in the Winter Rune Forge trial.
I think we’ll see a few happy souls now that Ennead has come around again. It’s also a good time to pick up the hammer from Laz if you don’t have it, since Mighty Gavel is coming up for a buff in the next weapon
You’d be forgiven for thinking the mutations didn’t rotate this week, with 2 out of 3 expeditions staying the same. The mutation type has shifted though, with Tempest as Fire instead of Nature and Starstone as Nature instead of Void. I suppose it’s good news
Don’t get too attached to these mutations, as I’m sure they will reroll when Season 5 releases later tonight. But if you need the Butcher, Blooddrinker, or the Magnetic Gauntlets, you have a couple of hours to try and get them…
With the inclusion of Savage Divide in this week’s mutations, we’ve come to the end of our first full rotation. Always nice to see Starstone come around for the casuals, as the ring can be useful in tricky situations.
This triple mutation is already feeling much better than the old doubles, as we’re already halfway through the available dungeons in the second week. Genesis is back for those who missed the brief window for the hatchet…
We have the magical combination of Marius’ big balls and the piles of panic poop filling up the final arena in Forge this week, while nary a ball to be seen in Starstone…

So, after waiting until the very end of the mutation rotation cycle to get a chance at the much anticipated Wall, the mutations have gone and changed after one day…
