Fashion Contest for Delos
Making up for missing out
One of the most exciting things in the first week of New World’s Community Convergence event was the Fashion Contest and its generous prizes. However, due to legal reasons, players from many countries were excluded from entering, including the entire AP Southeast region. So, we have decided to host our own Delos-server-based competition to give our stylish Delosians an opportunity to strut their stuff.
Prizes
It wouldn’t be a competition without prizes and while we don’t have the ability to give out Marks of Fortune or Transmog tokens, we can award cold hard gold for the winning entries.
- Winner – 100,000 gold
- People’s Choice – 50,000 gold
- Runners up – 50,000 gold to share (10,000 gold each)

Head to the brand-new Utopian Organ Discord channel and look for the May Fashion Competition post in the #events-and-competitions forum.
Post your image and include your in-game name and any commentary. Remember, other players can vote on your image for the People’s Choice Award, so this is your opportunity to convince them to choose you. You may also share your online channels along with your submission.

The Rules
- Competition opens 18 May 9:00 AEST and closes 24 May 23:59 AEST. Winners will be announced and prizes delivered from 26 May 20:00 AEST.
- Entry is open to Delos server players only. You can be playing from anywhere in the world but need to enter with your Delos server character.
- Prizes: 100,000 gold first prize; 50,000 gold People’s Choice prize; 10,000 gold each for 5 runners up.
- First prize and Runners up will be chosen based on the following qualities: Creativity and cohesion of costume; Aesthetic quality of screenshot including lighting, detail and composition; Thematic and/or aesthetic link between location and costume. Hint – images without the HUD removed will not win – F10 is the default key to remove the HUD.
- The winners will be announced on Narok Star’s stream – https://www.twitch.tv/narokstar on 26 May 20:00 AEST and in the Utopian Organ discord server.
- People’s Choice prize will be granted based on the total :white_check_mark: reactions on the submission in the Utopian Organ discord channel. Accounts that were created after the publication date of the competition (17 May) will be excluded from the count. If you made a discord account especially to enter this contest, please contact Landi (llandi on discord) so you can be exempt from this rule.
- People’s choice voting will extend until May 31 20:00 AEST. The winner of the major prize chosen by the judges is excluded from being voted on, so if you did vote for them, be sure to change your vote. The final count will be announced on Narok Star’s stream – https://www.twitch.tv/narokstar on May 31 from 20:30 AEST and in the Utopian Organ discord server.
- One vote per player. The only way we have to police this is by trusting that you will only use one discord account. Please respect the spirit of the competition and only vote for one entry. I know it will be difficult!
- Emojis other than :white_check_box: will not be counted as votes. They can be used to show enjoyment and support of submissions.
- Judges. Winners will be chosen by Lish and Landi. The judges’ decision is final.
- Prizes will be delivered in game to the player character who submitted the image. If the player is unable to receive the prize within one month of the end of the contest, the prize is forfeit. It is the player’s responsibility to spell their character name correctly in their entry.
- Editing. You are allowed to edit your image to improve its appearance.
- Anti-discrimination. Enemies of Don’t Die Alone are permitted to enter and will not be discriminated against on a personal basis. All entries will be judged on their own merit and not that of the player entering.
- You may have someone else take the screenshot in order to capture an angle and pose unlimited by the self-view. It’s up to you if you share the prize money with them.
- Use of images. All images submitted may be used by the Utopian Organ for illustration or promotional purposes on our website and all social media channels, including but not limited to, X, YouTube, Discord, Instagram.
- One entry per person, so choose your outfit wisely.
