Your total gear score is calculated from the sum of the individual pieces and each slot has its own weight in the equation. Weapons add the most to your total gear score, followed by Chestwear, while Boots add the least. How high does my Gear Score need to be?
- The Hatchery – 650+
- The Winter Rune Forge – 650+
- Mutation level 1 (M1) – 650+
- Mutation level 2 (M2) – 675+
- Mutation level 3 (M3) – 695+
- The Hive of Gorgons – 710+
- Isle of Night – 725+
- The Trial of the Devourer – recommended 700-725GS
- Catacombs – Level 65+ no Gear Score requirement
If your Gear Score is lower than the required level, you will not be able to enter the content. If it is below the recommended level, your damage may be scaled down and the damage you take will be increased. It is always best to meet the minimum Gear Score requirements before attempting content.
