Bugs, Hacks and new Content!
The devs fronted up to the cameras to face the Inquisition of players once more and address a range of concerns, focusing on important bugs, hacks, and some good news about mutations.
Three mutations a week
The big happy news is that it has been confirmed that when the new cross-world group finder is released, we will also be getting three mutations per week! This is huge, reducing the overall mutation cycle and the wait for desired artifacts to come around.
Considering respec cost
The devs also mentioned they were looking at the 200g attribute respec fee but were concerned about the impact on the economy. The fact that they are come out and said that respecs are the third biggest gold sink in the game and account for 12% of coin leaving the system shows how much it is costing us. But don’t too excited for a change here, the overall vibe felt like they wouldn’t be removing it.
Hackers
There were a few questions implying the devs were in denial about hackers, so they addressed those and made it clear that they are aware and do ban people but don’t necessarily announce it. It also sounded quite reassuring that they don’t just ban people without evidence and sometimes Easy Anticheat doesn’t reveal any evidence of hacking by suspected players.
Bugs
The MSQ bug was discussed, much to the relief of many players I’m sure! The devs have assured us that it is a high-priority issue. In order to fix it, they need to be able to replicate it, and this is what they are having trouble with. So, they’ve specifically asked players who have this bug to respond to the video and describe exactly what’s happening. Including how long it has been since you played the character before quitting and returning, as this seems to be the group of people who are most impacted.
In other news, the elemental damage bug in PVP that caused Boltcaster to be temporarily disabled, should be fixed in the next minor patch. And if you’ve had a Journal bug, that fix is coming by the end of the month.
