Welcome to The Season of the Banner
This article will walk you through the new Season Pass, from providing a guide on how to level Season XP quickly using Activity Cards, to listing all the tasks for the Journey Chapters and Challenges, including Seasonal World challenges and rewards. Finally, we have a list of all the Rewards, so you can look ahead and see what you’d like to get, and whether you think the Premium track is worth it for you.
This Season we see Capture the Flag enter as a full-time game mode, joining Outpost Rush and 3v3 Arenas as instanced PvP content. We don’t have much new in the way of PVE content, although we do get to fish for the Summer Medleyfaire rewards for the whole season!
Required Level: 25+
Cost of Premium Pass: 20,000 Marks of Fortune or $26.00 – $31.96 AUD
Completing the premium pass returns Marks of Fortune and cash shop items worth a total of $190.43 – $234.11 AUD
Runs from May 13 to July 28, 2025.
Stamping activity cards can be a fun mini-game, especially with the addition of the Bonus Stamps and incentive to find the most efficient way to use them. Filling a whole card is extremely satisfying!
Make sure to keep an eye on your Activity Card and Bonus Stamps. If you have 3 bonus stamps available, you may as well use one, so you can accumulate another. You don’t need to be a slave to the activities, but if you notice an easy one on your list, you may as well do it to keep your Season XP moving along.
Using Bonus Stamps
You get bonus stamps while playing the game, as well as by completing a line on your Activity Card. If you strategically place your stamps, you can use the extra bonus from the line to make another line, until the whole card is filled. It’s still worth optimising task combos to get the stamps on faster but you can also just do this by checking the card as you go about your regular activities.
You should be able to fill a card using Bonus Stamps, once you have about 5-6 activities stamped off.
Some good Task combos
The tasks this season seem to be encouraging us to kill players, and most of the old tasks are still available.
As usual, kill specific enemy type or kill with specific weapon are good tasks to stack.
One easy place to get named enemies, corrupted, and weapon kill quests is the farm near Duskmeadow Shrine in Everfall. There are three low-level named mobs that are easy to kill. There are also Corrupted breaches that spawn in the area.
Stacking multiple kill and weapon type objectives together works well. If you choose a low-level area, you can complete the kills more quickly.
The journey requires Corrupted kills, so completing multiple tasks here will help tick those over too.
Some other good locations are Myrkgard and outside Bull’s Eye outpost.
- Kill Enemies with Bows and Guns + Kill Enemies in Two-Handed Combat + Skin Tier 5 Animals + Gather Tier 5 Resource Nodes can be done at any T5 animal spawn location.
- Kill Beasts / Ancients / Humans + Kill Enemies with Magic / 1-Handed Melee / 2-Handed Melee / Bow or Guns
- Close 1 Minor Breach + Kill Corrupted + Kill Enemies in One-Handed Combat + Kill Enemies in Two-Handed Combat
You get the idea. You should supply yourself with 4 weapons – 1-handed, 2-handed, a magic weapon and a bow or gun. Look for places close to fast travel shrines to reduce time taken. You can quite often stay in one place for a few cards.
Of course, activities are not always going to align perfectly. Just do the best with what you have and reroll if you need to.
Some Easy Tasks
- Complete Town Project Missions – if you carry some resources, food and bait on you, these can be often be instantly completed.
- Play 2 songs. If you play Call of the Ancients Second Flute, it’s very quick and easy. Get yourself a buff at the same time.
- Participate in Duels. If you have a friend, you can do this very quickly.
- Loot 1 Elite Chest. There are a few elite chests at locations close to fast-travel shrines, such as the two near Wurmsign Obelisk.
- Craft Gypsum Orbs – save your gypsum and craft one orb each time this comes up
- Salvage Tier 5 items. Level 65 PVE players will have an endless supply of these.
- Craft Tier 5 Consumables. If you make your own consumables anyway, just do them 10 at a time when this comes up.
- Refine 50 Tier 5 Resources. If you gather and refine anyway, just refine your Tier 5 resources 50 at a time.
- Use Tier 5 coatings. This can be a bit expensive, so it’s up to you whether you have more time or money.
For the PVPers
If you prefer PVP, you can still get a few tasks done in Outpost Rush.
- Participate in Outpost Rush
- Get Killing Blows on Enemies in Outpost Rush
- Kill with weapon type
- Kill Corrupted / Angry Earth / Beasts
- Gather Tier 5 Resource nodes
- Gather Resources
- Skin Tier 5 Animals
The best XP can be earned via the Journey. You get from 850 to 3000 XP per Task and 4500 for completing a Chapter. You don’t need to do every Task to complete a Chapter, so once again you should focus on the easier ones to complete.
Doing the Season Questline is an easy way to pick up some of the Chapter tasks, as well as the rewards from the quest itself. Many of the tasks are cumulative, so the 4 PvP Arena matches you won in Chapter 2 also contribute to the 20 you need in Chapter 5.

The Season Pass has a range of rewards available for you as you level. You get the rewards on the Free track simply by earning Season XP, but will need to pay 20,000 Marks of Fortune to access the Premium Track Rewards. If you buy the Premium Track after you have already leveled some or all of the Season Pass, you will get the rewards for all the levels you have completed. You get 5k marks back from the Premium track, so the net cost is 15,000 Marks of Fortune.
The rewards have settled into a pattern, with very minor changes this Season. There are a lot less skins on the free track this season, and a new Apex combat box so that those who get to the last level of the past can try out the new survival potions.
