Keeping Time
As we steadily progress toward New World’s end date, I’ve had cause to appreciate this time to process and accept the end of the game. While the updates are welcome quality of life additions, each one emphasises the limited time we have left. This month, the territory standing grind got three times quicker and I can feel that game-long journey coming to an end. Achievement hunters who have completed the tasks will be happy to be finally granted the credit, but for those of us who hadn’t quite finished, the title is bittersweet. At the same time, all these things culminate in a solidification of the inevitable ending of this world and encourage us to look toward new horizons.

Farewell Evolys
This month’s article is a bit late but the advantage of that is we get a little bit of July in the June news. This means we can say farewell to Evolys, whose departure from the Skeleton Crew was announced by Katy on the 2nd.
Evolys has been instrumental in adding some great quality of life additions for this final year of New World. We have appreciated their clear and open communication in the official discord and willingness to work with players to find solutions.
It sounds like they have found a position in another project, so rather than focus on our loss in a dying game, we can be excited for them and the bright future and new opportunities for creativity ahead.
June patch notes
Not a huge amount added this month but the people in the Steam achievements thread will be happy to see a number of promised achievements granted. I got War Wins IV, so I think the only ones I’ll be missing are the OPR wins.
We can get into all the raid content with only 5 players now. Remember to make sure you’ve turned your group into a raid and ignore UI messaging that indicates you can’t enter.
Umbrals x3 means everyone can upgrade their gear. Keep an eye out in the evenings for us advertising a spot or two for last boss in Gorgon, to pick up your 2250 umbrals with minimal effort.
Delosian PVPers are enjoying the removal of the OPR rotation, while they warm up for the NWL wars.
Territory Standing Guide
With the 3x territory standing buff, it’s as good a time as any to start working toward hitting 300 in every territory. AYOUBgaming has kindly made a video outling the best ways to do this.
Katy's Wish List
There are no promises, but even with a teenier tiny team, Katy has asked for wishes to add to the list. Me, I’m hoping for an increased chances to get the Fishbowl and rare Brimstone furniture schematics. If you have something you’d like to see in the last months of the game, head over to the thred on the official discord and add your wish.
