Open Beta coming soon!
Three days only
It feels a bit strange to talk about a Beta for a game we’ve been playing for almost three years, but that’s because we’re merging an old community in with a new one made up of console gamers. While PC players have been feeling a bit on the outer, we’re finally invited in with this open beta test, showcasing the New Player experience and the first 30 levels of New World: Aeternum.
I, for one, am quite excited about having a chance to try out the new build before release. I want to see how the new jump and swimming animations feel and whether combat is much different. It will also be great just to see how this version of the game feels.
If you’re not quite at the point of reinstalling, we’ll be streaming the beta on Narokstar’s Twitch stream, so feel free to pop in and check it out.
Open Beta Dates
AGS has listed the start times as September 13 9AM to September 16 9AM Pacific Time. As we know, this might be subject to change. But assuming they keep to the schedule, the Delos local times are:
- Opens 2am Saturday September 14
- Closes 2am Monday September 17
Earn rewards
There are some extra benefits to participating in the Open Console Beta. You’ll get the title Aeternian Trailblazer just for logging in. Then you can earn skin rewards for levelling up your character, which will be account-wide like all skins.
Aeternian Adventurer set
- Level 10 – Gloves
- Level 15 – Footwear
- Level 20 – Legwear
- Level 25 – Headwear and Chestwear
