Open Beta Data Leak – Black Dye?!!
Sneak Peak into the Leak
In the early hours of the morning, Delos server time, AGS uploaded the Open Beta code, even though the beta test isn’t until next weekend. Of course, nwdb.info updated their PTR version with the new data, and for a brief moment, a glimpse into the October update was available for perusal. While the info was taken down soon after, a few valuable screenshots remain and have been distributed through the dark corridors of the web.

Fashion Alert: Black dye is coming!
We don’t know where and we don’t know when, but the object code for black dye exists! It will be called Wraith Black and from the look of the bottle, it’s pretty true to its name. I didn’t get onto nwdb myself, or I would have gone straight to the item page and checked the hex code. But I’m sure we’ll be able to do that next weekend and then we’ll know how black it really is.
A Gift for the Community
Black dye has been a regular request, so we hope this goes some way toward making peace with the PC community. There was a previous datamine and expectation this would come out with Rise of the Angry Earth, so I guess we’d better temper our expectations. If we don’t get black dye this time, it may be the last straw for some of the remaining few loyal players.

It’s hard to see past the Black dye but there were also 8 new artifacts, as expected, and what looks like some of the new resources from the Raid – Gorgonite Inductor, Gorgon’s Eye, Gorgon Essence. There are a bunch of new Hoplite items, something called Aquae Reijya and people were looking at Void Ore and Voidbent Ingots – whether to check if they are useful in the new patch or because they are, we don’t know. Mystic Doubloons from the PVP zone are there, of course, and two of the new artifacts will be in the Mystic Doubloon interface, for 60 doubloons each.
So, as well as jumping onto the Open Beta next weekend and earning exclusive skins and a title, it will be worth browsing ptr.nwdb.info to see what we can figure out about what’s coming for end-game players on October 15.
